Rosacea

Rosacea is a common inflammatory skin condition which varies in severity for each individual. Symptoms include facial flushing across the nose and cheeks, visible broken red veins, warm or burning sensation in the central areas of the face, tight & dehydrated skin and can also include spots or papules. Very occasionally rosacea can affect the eyes and cause an enlarged nose. Rosacea is more commonly seen in adult females but can affect males also. There are often triggers that will cause a flare up of rosacea such as alcohol, spicy food, sun exposure, temperature changes, smoking and some skin products.
