My Story

FROM NHS MATRON TO SKIN EXPERT

Having qualified as a children’s nurse from University of Southampton in 2006, I spent 12 very happy years working within the NHS, completing a further nursing qualification in mental health plus a nurse prescribing qualification during this time. I worked for many years as a Matron within an adult eating disorder service, plus time within Children’s Mental Health services and the CQC & complaints team.

It was during a nurse prescribing post within a GP surgery that I became really fascinated with not only the health of our skin and how best to treat skin conditions but also the affect our skin has on our mental wellbeing. A good skin day can make us feel on top of the world, but a bad skin day can leave us feeling miserable. I love skin health so much that I recently completed my Professional Diploma in Dermatology via the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. In the Autumn of 2024 I was proudly awarded the Aspire Rising Star award for my passion and commitment to patients skin journeys.

I absolutely pride myself in offering holistic care to my clients, creating bespoke treatment plans in partnership ensuring that you get the results you are looking for. Injectable treatments are great on their own but they are wonderful when they are combined with an overall skin improvement plan. I like to help clients understand what their skin needs from them as it ages, I hope to take the stress out of your skincare routine for you!

I offer an honest, caring and professional approach, putting your safety & happiness at the the forefront throughout your treatment. If I don't think a treatment is right for you or if I think another professional can help you better, then I will tell you.

Millie joins Cotswold Skin Edit! Millie is an adult nurse with nearly 5 years nursing experience behind her. Millie currently works as a nurse within General Practice, a role she loves and lead her to develop a keen interest in skin health, particularly how our skin restores and repairs itself. Millie will be joining to clinic on Wednesdays to offer you the very best in treatments.

Millie's passion for skin started sooner than General Practice though, having dealt with acne prone skin since her teen years. Millie truly understands how much our skin can impact how we feel about ourselves.

Millie's approach to skin & aesthetic treatments is very much patient led, listening to your goals and working on a personalised plan together in clinic to get you the best results. Your safety, comfort and happiness is at the heart of everything Millie has to offer to you.
