Red Veins and Cherry Angiomas

Red veins, also known known as spider veins to the face occur for many reasons such as trauma, hormone changes, sun exposure and certain skin conditions. At CCotswold Skin Edit we use a clever device called Thermavein which uses a very low current to shut down the veins and stopping the flow of blood. The treatment is instant with a small amount of downtime (redness and scabbing). Cherry angiomas are small groups of blood vessels usually red or purple in colour. They often occur during pregnancy and as we get a little older. They are very easily treated using the Thermavein device.
